Join Maestro Radu and the artists of VoxAmaDeus for a fitting conclusion to this hallowed day—a exciting and uplifting performance of Johannes Brahms’ monumental A German Requiem, sung in German. Brahms said that although the title referred to the language of its intended audience, he also could have titled it A Human Requiem, for his music speaks to listeners of every land and epoch. Complementing this beloved masterpiece will be Brahms’ popular and well-known Variations on a Theme by Haydn, also known as the Saint Anthony Variations.
