Beyond Bach and Vivaldi, many other composers contributed to the splendor of the Baroque era, and this concert presents seven of them, some familiar, others less so, from across Europe—Germany, Italy, France, and England. Recently featured composers Telemann and Avison are joined by other masters that have been rarely heard (or are new to our programming), including Marcello and Leclair, Quantz and Geminiani, in sparkling gems for recorder, Baroque flute, violin, trumpet, and orchestra. Complementing this thrilling program are Maestro’s engaging and customary “live notes”!

Running time: 90 minutes – no intermission

The Camerata concert series is sponsored by the Phelan Family Foundation
