A Philadelphia tradition! On original Baroque instruments, Handel Messiah celebrates the Story of the Season. Bright trumpets, grand voices of choristers and dazzling soloists stir, awaken, excite and uplift. From haunting melodies to the great “Hallelujah Chorus,” this is Christmas at its best. And in keeping with improvisatory Baroque performance practice, Maestro makes a few changes each time, so no two Messiah performances are ever quite the same! This will be the 2019 edition.
