Among the most prolific of Baroque composers, Vivaldi wrote some 500 concertos for one through four solo instruments with string orchestra. Opening with the charming Concerto madrigalesco, our traditional all-Vivaldi program will feature works for violin, oboe and trumpet in single, double and triple concertos, complemented by Maestro’s customary “live notes.”
