Our fall Vivaldi concert is a celebration of instrumental works by the Venetian master featuring a superb selection from his immense repertoire. In honor of the 300th anniversary of their publication in 1725, we present all four of the fabulous Four Seasons! In addition, stellar soloists will perform in solo concertos for oboe and trumpet, and will come together for Vivaldi’s famous double trumpet concerto, here performed by trumpet and oboe. A concerto for strings without soloist completes this outstanding program. And introducing each work are Maestro’s fascinating “live notes.”
